NPS Calculator
Enter how many respondents were promoters (9–10), passives (7–8) and detractors (0–6) on the 0–10 “How likely are you to recommend us?” question, and get your Net Promoter Score instantly.
The formula
NPS = % promoters − % detractors
What the result means
NPS ranges from −100 (every respondent is a detractor) to +100 (every respondent is a promoter). Passives count toward the total but neither add to nor subtract from the score.
There is no universally “good” NPS — interpretation varies by industry, audience and survey methodology. The most reliable use of the score is tracking your own trend over time and understanding the reasons respondents give in the follow-up question.
