1. About surveys.expert

surveys.expert is an AI-powered survey creation and feedback intelligence platform. The platform allows users to create surveys, collect responses, analyze feedback, generate AI-assisted questions, summarize open-text responses, and produce insights.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use surveys.expert.

If you use surveys.expert on behalf of a company, organization, or client, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure.

You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by team members, employees, contractors, or anyone you invite into your workspace.

You agree to provide accurate account, contact, and billing information and keep it updated.

4. Workspaces and team members

You may create or join workspaces. Workspace owners and admins are responsible for managing access, permissions, billing, survey content, and collected responses inside their workspace.

If a user leaves your company or no longer needs access, you are responsible for removing their access.

5. Customer content

You retain ownership of the content you create, upload, or collect through surveys.expert, including:

• survey questions
• survey designs
• uploaded files
• branding assets
• respondent answers
• open-text responses
• imported data

You grant surveys.expert a limited license to host, process, display, analyze, transmit, and store your content only as needed to operate and improve the service, provide support, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

6. Responsibility for survey content and respondents

You are responsible for the surveys you create and the data you collect.

You agree that you will:

• have a valid reason or legal basis to collect respondent data
• provide any required notices to respondents
• obtain consent where required
• avoid collecting unnecessary personal data
• avoid collecting sensitive personal data unless legally permitted
• comply with laws that apply to your business, industry, country, users, and respondents

surveys.expert is not responsible for the legality of your survey questions, your use of respondent data, or your relationship with respondents.

7. AI-generated content and insights

surveys.expert may use artificial intelligence to help generate survey questions, survey flows, templates, summaries, recommendations, sentiment analysis, topic extraction, and insights.

AI-generated outputs are provided for assistance only.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, validating, and approving AI-generated content before using it.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, unbiased, legally compliant, or suitable for every use case.

You should not rely on AI-generated insights as the only basis for legal, medical, financial, employment, or other high-impact decisions.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use surveys.expert to:

• send spam
• create phishing pages
• collect passwords, banking credentials, or private access codes
• impersonate another person or organization
• collect data illegally
• violate privacy or data protection laws
• publish misleading, harmful, abusive, discriminatory, illegal, or hateful content
• distribute malware or harmful code
• scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the platform
• use the platform to make automated high-impact decisions without appropriate human review
• violate the rights of others

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

9. Sensitive data

You should avoid collecting sensitive personal data unless you have a valid legal basis and appropriate safeguards.

Sensitive data may include, depending on applicable law:

• health information
• biometric data
• government ID numbers
• financial information
• religious or political views
• racial or ethnic origin
• sexual orientation
• children's data
• precise location data

If you collect sensitive data through surveys.expert, you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and obtaining any required consent.

10. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing shown at checkout.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize surveys.expert or its payment processor to charge the applicable fees, taxes, and recurring subscription amounts.

Subscription fees may renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.

11. Plan limits

Plans may include limits such as:

• number of surveys
• number of responses
• number of team members
• AI usage
• exports
• branding options
• analytics features
• storage

If you exceed your plan limits, we may ask you to upgrade, restrict certain features, pause collection, or apply additional charges where clearly disclosed.

12. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription from your account settings or by contacting support.

Cancellation stops future billing. It does not automatically refund previous charges unless stated in the Refund Policy.

13. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

14. Service availability

We aim to keep surveys.expert reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service.

The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, outages, third-party provider issues, cyber incidents, or events outside our control.

15. Third-party services

surveys.expert may use or integrate with third-party services, including payment processors, AI providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, email services, and authentication tools.

We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, data processing, policies, or actions outside our control.

16. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the platform and customer data.

However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for using strong passwords, managing user permissions, and protecting your account credentials.

17. Intellectual property

surveys.expert, including its software, design, branding, interface, templates, workflows, and platform features, is owned by surveys.expert or its licensors.

You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create competing products using our platform, templates, or software except as allowed by law.

18. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about surveys.expert, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.

19. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• you violate these Terms
• you fail to pay fees
• your use creates legal, security, or reputational risk
• you misuse the platform
• required by law or third-party provider rules

You may stop using the service at any time.

20. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, surveys.expert will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, reputational harm, or lost opportunities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid by you to surveys.expert during the three months before the claim arose.

21. No warranties

surveys.expert is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that the service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, be error-free, or produce specific business results.

22. Changes to the service

We may update, modify, improve, remove, or discontinue features from time to time.

Where changes materially affect paid users, we will try to provide reasonable notice.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.

Continued use of surveys.expert after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
