CSAT Calculator

Enter the number of satisfied responses (usually the top two ratings on your scale, e.g. 4 and 5 on a 1–5 scale) and the total number of valid responses to get your CSAT percentage.

Usually the top two ratings, e.g. 4 and 5 on a 1–5 scale.

The formula

CSAT = (satisfied responses ÷ total valid responses) × 100

What the result means

CSAT expresses the share of respondents who reported being satisfied, as a percentage from 0% to 100%.

Which ratings count as “satisfied” is a methodology choice — most teams use the top two points of the scale. Whatever you choose, keep it consistent so your trend line stays meaningful.
